“Can anything be done about the fine lines and crepey skin on my neck?”
It is a question I am asked regularly at Bella Medica Aesthetics. Many people are happy with their facial skincare routine but feel that their neck looks drier, thinner or more lined than they would like.
The neck is often one of the first areas to show signs of ageing and sun exposure. It has delicate skin, fewer oil glands than the face and is frequently overlooked when applying moisturiser or sunscreen.
At Bella Medica Aesthetics, I offer neck rejuvenation with Redensity1 for patients who want to improve the quality, hydration and overall appearance of their neck skin without creating a visibly altered or overfilled look.
The treatment is £300 per session, with every plan tailored following a proper consultation.
What is Redensity1?
Redensity1 is an injectable skin booster designed to improve skin quality rather than add significant structural volume.
It contains non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in the body that helps the skin retain moisture. The formulation also includes a complex of ingredients such as amino acids, antioxidants, minerals and vitamin B6.
In simple terms, the aim is to support the skin’s hydration and dermal environment. This may help the neck look:
More hydrated and refreshed
Smoother in texture
Brighter and healthier
Less crepey
Softer in the appearance of fine lines

Redensity1 is not the same as a traditional volumising dermal filler. I am not trying to change the shape of your neck or create fullness where it is not needed. The goal is more subtle: to improve the appearance and feel of the skin while keeping your result natural.
Why treat the neck?
The neck moves constantly. We turn it, bend it and stretch it throughout the day. It is also exposed to sunlight, cold weather and environmental stress, often without the same level of skincare as the face.
Some patients notice horizontal lines across the neck. Others describe a fine, crinkled texture or skin that appears dull and dehydrated. You may also feel that the skin no longer looks as firm as it once did.
There is no single reason why the neck changes. Ageing, genetics, sun exposure, weight fluctuations, skin type and lifestyle can all play a role.
Redensity1 may be suitable for patients with mild to moderate concerns around:
Fine lines
Dry or dehydrated skin
Crepey texture
Dullness
Early loss of skin firmness
Visible signs of sun exposure
However, I am always honest about what the treatment can and cannot do. Redensity1 is primarily a skin-quality treatment. It is not designed to correct severe skin laxity, deep platysmal bands or significant excess skin. If another treatment would be more appropriate, I will explain that during your consultation.
What happens during neck rejuvenation with Redensity1?
Your treatment begins with an assessment of your skin, your concerns and your medical history. I will also discuss your expectations and make sure the treatment is suitable for you.
The product is usually placed into the skin using a series of carefully positioned injections. The exact technique depends on your anatomy, skin condition and the result we are trying to achieve.
I take a measured approach, particularly when treating the neck. This is a delicate area, and precision matters. The treatment should be carried out in a clean, clinical environment by a practitioner with a thorough understanding of anatomy and injectable treatments.
The procedure is generally relatively quick. Redensity1 contains lidocaine to improve comfort, although you may still feel small pinches or pressure during the injections.
After treatment, you may notice small raised areas, redness, mild swelling or pinpoint bruising. These effects are usually temporary, but everyone responds differently.
When will I see results?
Some patients notice that their skin looks fresher and more hydrated soon after treatment. Other improvements develop more gradually over the following weeks as the skin responds.
I prefer not to promise an identical outcome for everyone. Your age, skin condition, lifestyle, sun exposure and the number of sessions you may need will all affect your result.
Redensity1 is not permanent, so maintenance may be recommended depending on how your skin responds and what you want to achieve. There is no universal treatment schedule that is right for every patient.
During your consultation, I will advise you honestly rather than recommending more treatment than you need.
Is there much downtime?
One reason patients consider skin boosters is that the downtime is often limited compared with surgery or more intensive procedures.
You may be able to return to normal activities quickly, but I recommend allowing your skin some time to settle. For the first 24 hours, it is sensible to avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, steam rooms and excessive heat.
You should also avoid rubbing or massaging the treated area unless I specifically advise you to do so. Use gentle skincare and avoid applying irritating products, such as strong exfoliating acids or retinoids, to the neck immediately after treatment.
Small bumps can remain visible for a short period while the product disperses. Bruising may take longer to fade, particularly if you bruise easily.
I will provide individual aftercare advice, and our post-procedure advice line is available if you have any questions after your appointment.
Is Redensity1 safe for everyone?
No injectable treatment is suitable for absolutely everyone. That is why the consultation is an important part of the process.
I will ask about your health, medication, allergies, previous treatments and any relevant medical conditions. Treatment may need to be postponed if you are unwell, have an active infection or have irritation in the area.
Common temporary effects can include:
Redness
Tenderness
Swelling
Small bumps
Mild bruising
More significant complications are uncommon but possible with any injectable treatment. If you experience increasing pain, marked swelling, spreading redness, heat, discharge or feel unwell after treatment, you should seek medical advice promptly.
A doctor-led setting gives you the reassurance that your suitability is assessed properly and that you have access to appropriate advice if you are concerned.

Why choose doctor-led neck rejuvenation in Lancashire?
I established Bella Medica Aesthetics in 2008, following my medical training and work as a GP. I have more than 20 years of experience as a doctor and have performed medical aesthetic treatments for many years.
For me, doctor-led care is not simply a phrase for a website. It means taking responsibility for the full patient journey:
Listening carefully to what you want to improve
Reviewing your health and treatment suitability
Understanding the anatomy of the area being treated
Recommending an appropriate treatment plan
Discussing risks and realistic results
Providing aftercare and follow-up support
I am proud that Bella Medica Aesthetics was awarded Best Medical Aesthetics & Skincare Clinic in Lancashire by Global Health and Pharma Magazine in 2025 and 2026.
Even so, I believe the most important measure of a good treatment is whether the patient feels informed, safe and happy with a natural-looking result.

How much does neck rejuvenation with Redensity1 cost?
At Bella Medica Aesthetics, neck rejuvenation with Redensity1 is £300 per session.
The number of sessions you may need depends on your skin and your goals. I will explain this during your consultation, along with any suitable alternatives. We also offer a range of other skin treatments and skin boosters, but the right option depends on the concern you are trying to address.
There is no pressure to proceed. A consultation should give you clear information so that you can make a decision that feels right for you.
How can I book a consultation?
If you are considering neck rejuvenation with Redensity1 in Lancashire, you can book online with Bella Medica Aesthetics.
You can also learn more about our clinics and how to contact us on the Bella Medica contact page.
I will assess your neck skin, listen to what you would like to improve and give you honest advice about whether Redensity1 is appropriate. Sometimes the best plan is a treatment. Sometimes it is a skincare routine, a different procedure or simply taking more time to decide.
That honest conversation is always the right place to start.
